I left home at 16. To escape a lot of what I was going through, I hung out at the local park. I would spend many afternoons there and lay in the grass for hours on end to dream about the future that I was going to create for myself. I wanted everything — the white picket fence, kids, and happiness.

All of us start with a dream, but then life gets in the way and we lower our expectations. Who can relate to that?

When I was living in a tiny shoebox apartment in Brisbane, I was at a point where I was actually selling furniture to pay rent because I was in $50,000 worth of credit card debt. I was at a big crossroads in my life when I bumped into a company and things changed for me really quickly. I made a conscious decision to remove myself from the social circle that wasn’t fulfilling me and supporting me in my pursuit to create success for myself.

I started working with the company and by month five, my income jumped up to $25,000. By month six, it jumped up to $39,000 and then just months after that, I had my first six-figure month with $108,000. Fast forward 18 months, and I became a self-made millionaire.

It doesn’t have to be a struggle if you can align yourself with your purpose and your passion. Personal development is absolutely my passion, and if you can align that, it doesn’t feel like work. To me, there’s nothing else like it on the planet that produces the same value in terms of the compensation plan and the products as what I found with this company.

Think big, think about how quickly things can change. So figure out your financial goal, your plan of attack, and your marketing plan, then put pen to paper and execute that plan every single day. This was my magic formula.

When you get the money stuff out of the way, all of a sudden it frees up your spirit to work on other things that are so much more important and fun. It allowed me to spend more time with family, friends, and pursuing my other personal passions. Hopefully you can, too.
