In the very first episode of “Mind Power,” a personal development podcast by husband and wife team Shane and Rachel Krider, the duo discusses the topic of the law of attraction and the power of attraction. Since both have survived periods of struggling before they were able to make themselves millionaires, Shane and Rachel outline their hardships they had to go through before finding success. SHANE

I have spent a lot of time in my life struggling. My life was difficult, challenging and it seemed like no matter what I did, I never really got the result I wanted. It wasn’t that I wasn’t willing to put in the effort, it’s just that I seemed to be missing some magic ingredient. And unfortunately for me, some people just made it look like it was really easy.

I wanted to learn what the difference was. I didn’t know if there was a difference. I thought that maybe it was just absolute luck or good fortune or anything like that, but if you ever think of some situation in your life where you struggled and somebody else around you just made it look easy, can you think about anything?

RACHEL

Yes. The first business I got started in, I saw people having success and making it look easy and for me, it was anything but easy. It was a struggle, it was exhausting with big effort and little reward. While others around me, I saw they were getting the results that I aspired to be getting myself, but I couldn’t put the dots together. But in other areas of my life — I don’t know if you guys can relate to this — I would have some success and be doing alright and feeling great but then all of a sudden it’s like I was my own worst enemy. I’d have some success but then sabotage that success and it would all unfold and I may be worse off than I was before I’d created the success in the first place.

It was sort of short lived until I got my hands on some information and I learned how to make some significant changes that stayed with me.

You know what, information is the key. For me, I was happy to have any type of success, whether a short-lived or long lasting because I’d never really been able to have anything that I considered to be a big amount of success.
